The energy broker industry has historically been opaque. Commission structures were hidden, contract terms were buried, and too many businesses were steered towards whichever deal paid the broker most — not the one that suited the client best. We were set up to do things differently.
We operate as a genuine advisory, not a sales function. That means we represent your interests in the market, explain how contracts and pricing actually work, and remain available to you throughout the life of your agreement — not just at the point of signing.
Who We Are
Responsible Energi Limited is an independent energy advisory business, founded to give
UK SMEs genuine representation in the commercial energy market. We are not tied to any
single supplier. We have no preferred panel. We work exclusively on behalf of the
businesses we advise.
The business energy market is opaque by design. Broker commissions are often hidden
within unit rates, supplier relationships skew recommendations, and most SMEs renew
contracts without knowing whether they received a competitive price. We founded
Responsible Energi to change that.
How We Work
Our core methodology is the Reverse Auction — a structured procurement process in which
two or more energy suppliers compete directly for your business. As each supplier bids and
rebids, the competitive tension erodes their margins and drives the price down to its lowest
achievable level. The result is a transparent, market-tested price that you can be confident
represents genuine value.
We handle both fixed price and flexible (variable) contracts, advising on the appropriate
structure based on your consumption profile, risk appetite, and budget requirements.
